Peruskoulu
Peruskoulu is the finnish comprehensive school. Literally translated it means the basic school. A basic school is an educational unit that adheres to The Finnish Basic Education Act and The Curriculum for Basic education. It is a societal comprehensive school institution and a diverse culture of basic education. For individuals and groups, it is a combination of experiences and perspectives regarding the basic school, forming the basic school reality. In its broadest sense, Peruskoulu is the sum of all the aforementioned perspectives.
